We believe that when moms feel free to express themselves, they raise children who do the same. Through creative experiences like the Poised & Proper Free Mama Fashion Show, community events, and personal development opportunities, we help women reconnect with their purpose, confidence, and community. Together, we’re redefining what it means to be a mom—empowered, expressive, and free.

Meet the Founder
Joquetta Wright is the visionary behind the Free Mama Movement — a nonprofit born from her belief that motherhood should never require the abandonment of dreams.
As a mother, creative producer, and community builder, Joquetta understands firsthand the tension many women feel between ambition and responsibility. She created Free Mama as a response — a space where mothers are free to build, express, lead, and rise without apology.
Through curated experiences, cultural gatherings, and confidence-building platforms, she is redefining what it means to be a modern mother — rooted in freedom, grounded in purpose, and empowered with confidence.
